Appartement T2 pour sale

wo-bedroom flat with two parking spaces and a storage room in Benfica, Lisbon. This flat has two bedrooms: one is an en-suite with two wardrobes, and the other has one wardrobe. From the spacious living room and the kitchen, which is fitted with built-in appliances, you can enjoy views of the estate's garden and swimming pool. The flat is situated within a private housing estate with a garden and swimming pool, located in one of Lisbon's liveliest and youngest parishes. This flat offers proximity to the city, whilst also providing the tranquillity afforded by the atmosphere of this housing estate. Benfica is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Lisbon, covering an area of 7.94 km² and with a population of 36,821 (2011). Population density: 4,637.4 inhabitants per km². It encompasses around two-thirds of the Portuguese capital's 'green lung', the Monsanto Forest Park. It began as a village of peasants from the Saloia region. Along with them, several religious orders also settled in the area. In the 15th century, the town was designated the seat of the Lisbon judicial district, and was granted two dedicated judges. It was also at this time that three important religious brotherhoods were established: Nossa Senhora do Amparo, Santo António and São Sebastião. In the 18th century, the area began to attract a growing number of affluent new classes, drawn by the landscape, who settled on country estates. In the 19th century, links to public transport were established and the town experienced exponential growth. With the abolition of the Lisbon Municipal District in 1852, the territory of Benfica was first incorporated into the new municipality of Belém and, later, in 1886, it was divided. The area outside the new Lisbon Ring Road was incorporated into Oeiras (and is now part of Amadora), whilst the inner area was incorporated into Lisbon, giving rise to the current parish. The city continued to grow rapidly, which was reflected in the increasing urbanisation of the parish. From the 1950s to the 1990s, the population tripled from 17,843 to around 50,000. In 1959, the territory was divided once again, giving rise to the parish of São Domingos de Benfica. More recently, alongside increasing construction, there has been a decline in the resident population, due not only to an ageing population but also to the migration of younger residents to the outskirts.
