“That’s it. That’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. That’s why I want to move.” It’s the first thing I think as I reach the front door. I haven’t even stepped inside and I’m already stopping to look. In front of me, there are no apartment blocks, no windows too close and no sense of being in the middle of everything. There’s green... There’s space... The view opens up... And I think: I didn’t know how to explain what my home was missing. Now I do. I step inside. I don’t feel the rush to see everything straight away. I want to stay there for a few seconds. Look... Take in the house. Feel the light. Imagine where I’d put down my keys, where I’d leave my shoes, where I’d hear someone say, “I’m home.” Then I walk into the living room. And this is where it all starts to make sense. It’s a living room with space for life. It has room for a whole family on a Sunday afternoon. Room for friends who come for dinner and stay late. Room for a Christmas tree without having to move half the house around. Room for the happy sound of being together. I look at the fireplace and immediately think of cold days. A full sofa... Blankets... The kind of comfort you can’t buy with beautiful décor, but you feel when a house embraces you. The dining area is right there. It is part of the conversation. It is part of the people in the living room, of the person setting the table, of the ones finishing dinner who still don’t want to leave. Then I see the kitchen. And I realise this isn’t a kitchen just for cooking. This is where hurried breakfasts happen. Where homework gets done. Where conversations unfold while someone makes dinner. I step outside for a moment and I like the feeling. There’s room to enjoy it: to put a table outside, hear children playing, have plants and breathe, without the work of maintaining a huge garden. I head upstairs. And upstairs, I begin to map out life. There are four bedrooms. Four spaces where everyone can have a corner of their own. A bedroom for us. One for each child. A home office... A walk-in wardrobe... A guest room, or simply four bedrooms for a family that never wants to feel short of space again. I open one door... Then another... And I notice the light. The balconies. The open view. That feeling of waking up, opening the window and not feeling that the world is too close. The two bathrooms on this floor make me think about mornings. Because a good home isn’t just beautiful. It’s a home that makes everyday life easier. Then I head down to the basement. And this is where I realise this house has something many others don’t: room to grow with the people who live in it. It isn’t just a garage! It’s around 90 m² with room for a whole life that hasn’t happened yet. I see a spacious garage, a laundry area, storage and a bathroom. But I can also see a gym... A cinema room... A space for the children... A proper office... A place to welcome family. A place where there is finally room for the things we don’t yet know we’re going to need. And that is when I realise the feeling has real reasons behind it. I return to the entrance, look once more at the greenery in front of the house and think: I’m not just looking at a house. I’m looking at the next chapter of my life. And, without thinking any further, I ask the only question that matters: “When can I see it?” Can you picture yourself living here?
