Quinta do Fornelo is a farmstead that is very well situated in the heart of the Alto Douro Wine Region, which has been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001. The beautiful Quinta do Fornelo is situated in the municipality of Tabuaço, between the Estrada Nacional 323 (km 38.1) and the River Távora; it is a very peaceful spot where one can truly hear the sounds of nature in a very special way. Quinta do Fornelo is a very well-maintained estate, in an excellent state of repair. - The property covers a total area of 21.6 hectares (210,600 m²) and comprises both urban and rural land. - The main house, which has a certificate of occupancy, is built of granite and schist.
