The maintenance of the old lines and the old decoration allows the visitor to travel back in time and enjoy a unique experience. Traditionally, it is also known as Casa Dos Mouros, since it was built during Arab ruling between the 8th and 9th centuries (probably the original construction date), to be used as a watchtower. Later it underwent a significant expansion in the 18th century but kept the large rock as the base of the house.
